• With airTubeStack you create your virtual guitar rig.
This gives you virtual guitar tube amplifiers or amps and cabs , stompboxes and effects with absolutely low latency.
• We have broken new technical ground so that we can achieve latencies that have not been seen before on many important devices. (from Android 8.1 upwards)
Even with some cheap devices, but still dependent on the extremely differently constructed devices. 6-8 core processors are recommended, e.g. s20,s21,s22,s23 or s24 but not mandatory.
• As with external professional devices, you can load your own impulse response files ( IR Files ) into the Cabinet Modeler and then save them within your sound. ( Cloud or Local ) .
You can also choose between different speakers and microphones (manufacturer, angle and distance).
• In the Tube Amp Modeler you can combine a wide variety of tone controls and tubes as well as the compressor effect ( crossover distortion) typical of tube power amplifiers.
• You can observe the waveform of your sound in a small oscilloscope in the effects area.
• A useful collection of virtual effects devices is also available. (Echo, reverb, chorus, flanger, phaser, gate, various filters and EQ's, compressor, overdrive, distortion etc.)
• Also integrated is a guitar tuner and a music player that allows you to play music files at different speeds, e.g. to identify and learn specific licks.
• airTubeStack contains the technical experience from 28 years of guitar speaker simulation and 40 years of technical and musical experience with virtual and real tube amplifiers.
• With the user interface in airTubeStack, we have made sure that it is not analogous to that of the original, but is mostly typical of the usability of the Android OS.
• NEW: v2.5 airTubeStack has a new main feature:
Recording of microphone input (guitar/voice).
The signal passes through the virtual effects and can be recorded while playing the guitar or singing. The addition of a music file (*.wav, *.m4a and *.mp3 is converted to *.wav) during recording is supported.
You can also record your unprocessed signal while playing the guitar or singing, for example to use it later in a DAW.
The result is saved as a media file (*.wav). You can access the files in ".../Documents/airTubeStack/*.*".
v2.6 airTubeStack has a new main feature:
• NEW: Connection of midi footswitch boards (USB or Bluetooth adapter)
You can now connect different midi footswitch boards to airTubeStack. Either via USB or via Bluetooth.
Via Bluetooth is a third-party app "Bluetooth Midi Connect"
necessary. If the Bluetooth hardware is successfully connected to it, the device can be selected in the midi device list in the app settings.
Hardware: e.g. "SoftStep 2" in toggle mode.
The controller data CC#21 - CC#31 value (0=off , 127=on) represent the virtual effects in your rig (Nr 1- max. 11) .
For an expression pedal you need CC#102 or CC#7.
Here 0-127 applies, below the current output volume value.
You can set the lowest threshold in [%] for output volume in the settings.
You can find more details in the app under settings.
• NEW: 9 tunings in the guitar tuner selectable
• NEW: Function "Create New Rig" in "Devices Stack" view (menu)
• NEW: Function "Show Output-Volume" in "Devices Stack" view (menu)
