The Hope Programme Self-management course based on positive psychology, mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy, built on 20 years of research evidence. The Hope Programme can help you to: • be more relaxed • set goals that are important to YOU • deal with stress and extreme tiredness • share your fears and worries • live well with a long-term condition • cope better with providing care Meet others in the same situation and try a range of interactive activities including goal setting, gratitude, hope for the future, mood, activity and symptoms tracking, journaling and an online forum. Supported by trained facilitators with lived experience. Coproduction is at the heart of all we do. The Hope programme and the app has been co-designed with people living with chronic illness, carers, researchers and healthcare professionals. Key features of the app include: 1) guided programmes aimed at supporting lifestyle changes through daily actions and creating a broad toolkit for self-management - from nutrition and movement to psycho-emotional wellbeing 2) Symptom relief hub - evidence and guideline-informed support for targeting specific symptoms with non-pharmacological interventions, e.g. pain relief, menopause symptoms 3) General support hub - general information on integrative oncology (IO) and key modalities/therapies, as well as practical information including recipes and free groups and events offered by a variety of charities for community support. 4) Opportunity to connect Healthkit API and wearable devices to Oncio to help keep key health and wellbeing metrics in one place and monitor progress displayed on graphs. 5) Self-evaluation of progress and participation in app evaluation through validated health questionnaires.
