UpLift - Depression & Anxiety vs #SelfLove Usage & Stats

UpLift is the first self-help app for depression and anxiety of its kind. It's based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, tested, and shown to work. "I have already had my eyes opened to so many new tools in only one forty minute session with the app." "Thank you so much. I'm seriously about to cry because today's session was so important and useful to me." *SCIENCE* A pilot study of 80 UpLift users showed that in just 1 month, those who stuck with the program had nearly a 50% reduction in depression scores that lasted, as well as a 37% reduction in anxiety scores. (1) UpLift was developed by expert psychologists and leaders from the field of mobile mental health. It's based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, which has been used to treat people with anxiety and depression for over 30 years. *SESSIONS* UpLift provides you with 11 interactive psychology sessions that are around 45 minutes long each week. In the sessions, you'll be answering questions, doing self care exercises, and getting customized feedback and guidance to strengthen your well-being. Here are some of the sessions you'll work through: - The Emotional Equation - Positive Activities - Lies Depression Tells You - Recognizing Thought Errors - Confronting Thought Errors After the sessions, you'll unlock tools in your toolbox. *MOOD TRACKER* UpLift includes a free Mood Journal, otherwise known as a mood diary. Use it to track your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, and watch your progress on your mood chart. *TOOLBOX* The toolbox contains tools that enable you to apply the skills you learn in the sessions to your daily life. Here's a sample of some of the tools you'll unlock with UpLift: - Problem Solver - Daily Mood Tracking - Trigger Plan - Thought Errors - Anger Management - Goal Trainer - Mood Boosters *COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY* Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a type of psychotherapy based on the idea that modifying thought and behavior patterns was more important than understanding the psychological origins of behavior. Because this type of counseling does not require the presence of a therapist, attempts were soon made to automate the process, first with “bibliotherapy” (CBT self-help books), and then with “CCBT,” or Computerized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. UpLift is a new generation of CCBT (now called “iCBT”). UpLift uses our own proprietary programming technology to make it dynamic and responsive and modern UX design to make it a pleasure to use, while maintaining tried-and-proven CBT methods at it's heart. *PRICING* UpLift is free to download and the first session is free of charge. You can unlock all of the sessions and the entire toolkit via an auto-renewing subscription with a 7 day free trial. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription of 1 year will automatically be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same subscription length and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your subscription may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase. *TERMS & PRIVACY* Terms of Service: https://www.uplift.app/termsofuse Privacy Policy: https://www.uplift.app/privacypolicy *CONTACT* Email - support@uplift.app Facebook - www.facebook.com/UpLiftTheApp Twitter - www.twitter.com/UpLiftTheApp (1) - Liu, E., & Pluta, A., & Dobson, K. Missing out on what life has to offer because of low self esteem? Get your self-esteem back on track with research-backed methods based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Join 100,000+ people who already enjoy more confidence! HOW CAN IMPROVING SELF-LOVE BE SO SIMPLE? We tend to overcomplicate things. Research shows our mind can learn and adapt by using the power of helpful thinking. There are multiple published studies that show this app to be effective for body image, obsessions, self esteem and even depression! What's the story behind the app? The app is the result of collaboration between a game developer and a clinical psychologist. When we created this app, we wanted it to be as effective as possible, and to take only 3 minutes a day to complete and improve. So when we published the first version, Prof. Guy Doron began researching the impact of the daily training. We found that within 14 days, users managed to build mental resilience that lasted for additional 30 days! IMPROVING CONFIDENCE IS SIMPLE Throw away your negative thoughts. Accept your positive thoughts. Learn to identify your inner conversation and respond to real life thoughts. Train daily and improve your self esteem and wellness. SCIENCE BACKED New findings support the effectiveness of the core mechanism used in GGTUDE's apps. According to CBT models, negative self talk – individuals’ interpretations of the self, others and the world - maintain psychological difficulties such as low self esteem, mood, and maladaptive behavior. HOW DO I BUILD MY SELF-ESTEEM? The foundations of healthy confidence and self esteem are built upon beliefs. Our beliefs have the potential to bias and affect our ability to deal with daily situations. For example, if I believe that "everything in myself needs to be prefect", I won't be able to live up to these expectations and my confidence will decrease. BELIEFS AND SELF TALK Beliefs and self talk are interrelated. Once we learn to embrace healthier and more adaptive self-talk, it can change our beliefs and help us get rid of the ones that negatively affect our confidence and self esteem. IS THIS APP SIMILAR TO PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPY? Our app platform is not designed to be used as a therapy or treatment, however: 1. It is being used by CBT therapists as a complementing tool. 2. It helps in maintaining self esteem during or after therapy. 3. It is found to relieve symptoms of anxiety, worries, obsessions and more. HELPFUL THINKING The basic task in the app is simple - you will be presented with thoughts. If the thought promotes unhelpful self talk - throw it away by swiping it up. If the thought promotes positive or helpful thinking, accept it by swiping it down. The more we train, the more automatic this process becomes. HOW MUCH SHOULD I TRAIN EACH DAY? To feel better and improve your confidence, start today! GG Apps are designed to be most effective in short training sessions. You are advised to complete up to 3 levels per day, which should only take between 3-4 minutes. LEVELS AND TOPICS The app's many topics and themes are broken down into more than 500 levels. Each level has a pool of self talk statements (or thoughts). The topics include: self esteem, belief in change, self criticism, negative thinking, coping, positive boost, comparing, perfectionism, emotions, social fears, self as an object, danger and threat, seeing the beauty, fear of abandonment, and more. You can also test yourself to see how well your confidence progresses with our self assessment tool.
