Full Comparison for Traffic Sources:
We published a post about the full analytics comparison feature last week that goes in-depth, but in short, users now have the option to compare up to five domains and see an instant view of their analytics data across all geographic and traffic sources.
Custom Date Range Picker
The custom date range picker allows you to choose a specific time range, adding incredible flexibility to the analysis process. For example, you can use this feature to monitor changes over the course of a specific campaign that a competitor has run.
Time Granularity In the Audience Overview Graph
You can now see the Audience Overview graph in daily, weekly and monthly views. This gives you a better analysis of competitor performance over a longer period of time. You can use this to identify seasonal changes, spot sudden peaks, and find patterns in visits.
CSV Downloads for Visitor Engagement a Year Back
You can now download data to CSV in full comparison mode. This makes it much easier to analyze the traffic & comparison data, discover trends, and understand your competitors’ strengths and weaknesses.

Being able to access data throughout a full-time range is crucial in researching a market or analyzing competitors. This new CSV download option lets you export the audience overview data by days, weeks, or months, going back a full year. Access to such data in this format makes analysis easier and more manageable.
