A look at monthly visits to a cohort made up of the five largest New Zealand air carriers (Air New Zealand, Jetstar, Qantas, Emirates and Singapore Air) shows that Air New Zealand dominates the landscape in its home country, with an average of 3.8 million monthly visits over the past 14 months, 480% above its next closest competitor, Jetstar, which averaged 677k visits over that time period.
For the month of February 2023, the traffic gap was a little less, with Air New Zealand getting 3.5 million visits, 429% above Jetstar’s 658k. You can look at how the data has moved over time below.
